In April 2001, we held our first organizational meeting - a group of neighbors and friends - and we compiled a list of names and numbers to present to law enforcement, so they could call us when they needed help with horse cases. Now, nearly 20 years later, we are still a resource for law enforcement, but mostly we are a horse sanctuary. Our calendar for the upcoming year celebrates our 20 years of helping horses.
